If you are a seasoned computerized payroll specialist with strong leadership skills, the City of Regina has a great term opportunity for you. This challenging and complex role will ensure the day to day operational activities of the branch are maintained while a new HR & Payroll system implementation is in progress. Responsibilities include maintaining Human Resources services provided by the branch and ensuring compliance to provincial and federal laws and regulations, corporate policies, guidelines and collective bargaining agreements. This assignment will also provide coverage for a portion of the current duties of the Manager, Payroll, and the Analytics & Employee Administration role. Given your experience, in addition to your demonstrated leadership, you will bring a problem solving, conflict resolutions and collaborative approach to the position.
Your education and experience will typically include a relevant degree or a recognized accounting designation as well as a minimum of five years’ progressively responsible experience in a computerized Payroll environment (of which three will have been hands-on computerized payroll) and three years Human Resources experience with two years in a senior supervisory position.
